Sugar Rush 1000 Max Win
The top prize in Sugar Rush 1000 at Nine Casino is 25,000x your total bet, five times the 5,000x cap of the original Sugar Rush. Pragmatic Play confirmed the figure when it launched the game in March 2024, and the game server still lists it today.
We checked every number on this page against Pragmatic's own data, loading the game in Canadian dollars on the studio's demo server. The win cap is reached by stacking big multiplier spots under large clusters, which mostly happens in free spins, where the multipliers stay on the grid.

Where to Play Sugar Rush 1000 in Canada
Nine Casino carries the Pragmatic Play catalogue, so Nine Casino Sugar Rush 1000 sits in the same lobby as the studio's other slots. It runs in the browser on desktop, iPhone and Android, with no app to install.
- Search the lobby: press Search at the top of the page and type "Sugar Rush 1000". The box also takes a studio name, so "Pragmatic" brings up the whole range.
- Pick the right title: the series has several entries, including the original, Xmas and Super Scatter versions. The 1000 version is the one with the 25,000x cap.
- Try it or fund it: press Demo to spin with play credits, or deposit from C$20 by Interac e-Transfer, card, Apple Pay, e-wallet or crypto to play in C$.
- Open the info screen: before the first real spin, tap the (i) icon in the game to see the RTP version and paytable that apply to your session.

Sugar Rush 1000 RTP is 96.53% for the base game on Pragmatic Play's own game server, with slightly lower figures when you buy the bonus. The studio's public game page lists 96.00%, which tells you that more than one version is in circulation.

The first three rows come from the configuration Pragmatic's demo server sends when the game loads; the last is the figure on the Sugar Rush 1000 page at pragmaticplay.com. Casinos pick a version from the studio, so the number that counts is the one in the game's own info screen at Nine Casino. On C$1,000 of total bets the gap is C$5.30 on average.
Pragmatic does not print a volatility label for this title, but its own numbers point one way. A 25,000x cap that lands about once in 12.8 million rounds, a paytable where a five-symbol cluster of the lowest symbol pays 0.2x the bet and a top cluster of 15+ pays 150x: that spread means long quiet stretches and rare big hits. We treat it as a high-volatility slot and size the stake to match.

An illustration of long-run averages, not a prediction. Expected loss = stake x spins x (1 - RTP). RTP is measured over millions of rounds; a real session on a high-volatility slot can end far above or far below these figures.
With the defaults, C$500 of total bets at 96.53% costs C$17.35 on average. Real sessions never track the average, so the spins-with-no-wins figure is the more honest guide to your cushion.
How the Grid and Multiplier Spots Work
Sugar Rush 1000 has no paylines. Symbols land on a 7x7 grid of 49 positions, and five or more matching symbols touching each other form a winning cluster.
- Cluster pays: a group of five or more adjacent matching symbols pays by size. On the paytable we loaded, a five-symbol cluster of the lowest symbol returns 0.2x the bet and 15 or more of the top symbol return 150x.
- Tumble: winning symbols explode, the ones above drop down and new ones fall in from the top. It repeats until no new cluster forms.
- Marked spots: when a winning symbol explodes, its position is marked. If a second win explodes on the same spot, it gets a x2 multiplier.
- Doubling: every further explosion on that spot doubles it: x2, x4, x8 and so on up to x1,024. The multiplier applies to any winning cluster that forms on top of it.
In the base game the marks build up during one tumble sequence. In free spins they stay put until the round ends, which is why the big Sugar Rush 1000 results nearly always come from the bonus. The 1,024x top is eight times the original Sugar Rush ceiling of 128x.
The minimum stake in Pragmatic's Canadian dollar demo was C$0.20 per spin. While a bonus is active, the Nine Casino bonus terms cap the stake per spin.
Sugar Rush 1000 Demo
The Sugar Rush 1000 demo is the cheapest way to feel how the multiplier spots build. At Nine Casino, open the game and press Demo or Play demo; you spin with play credits that have no cash value.
Pragmatic also hosts a free version on its own game page. Loaded in Canadian dollars, it started us with C$100,000 in play money, plenty to see how often the bonus round shows up.
- Count the dry spells: note how many spins pass between free spins rounds.
- Test the buy in demo: the 100x and 500x purchases cost nothing in play credits, so you can see what they return before paying real money.
If a title shows no Demo button or a "Demo mode is not available" message, our guide to Nine Casino demo mode covers why that happens and what to try next.
Free Spins and Bonus Buy
Sugar Rush 1000 free spins start with three or more scatters anywhere on the grid. The more scatters, the longer the round.

During the round, marked spots and their multipliers stay on the grid and keep doubling with every new explosion. Three or more scatters inside the round award extra free spins.
Buy 100x
Pays 100x the bet to start the free spins straight away. RTP for this mode is 96.52%, almost the same as the base game.
Buy 500x
Pays 500x the bet for a round that opens with every one of the 49 spots already carrying a x2 multiplier. When we ran it in the demo it started with 10 spins. RTP for this mode is 96.44%.
The buy options appear only where the casino and local rules allow them. At Nine Casino the lobby has a separate Bonus Buy category, and the bonus FAQ counts Bonus Buy games at 50% towards wagering, against 100% for regular slots. Spinning normally clears the 35x welcome wagering twice as fast per C$. Our overview of Nine Casino bonuses lists the reloads and the Weekly Cashback of up to 25% on slots with 1x wagering, which suits a swingy game like this one.
Who Sugar Rush 1000 Is Not For
Sugar Rush 1000 is built around rare big rounds: fun with the right budget, frustrating without it.
A good fit if you
- enjoy chasing a big free spins round
- keep the stake under 1% of your balance
- like learning a game in demo first
Better skipped if you
- want frequent small wins to stretch C$20
- are mid-wagering and need steady turnover
- tend to raise the stake after a loss
If you notice that last habit, Nine Casino gives you tools to stop it: deposit, loss, wager and session limits per day, week or month in the Gambling Limits tab, Reality Check reminders, a cooling-off limit and self-exclusion for a set or open-ended period. Free help in Canada is available from the Responsible Gambling Council and GameSense.
